Waiting for a flight can often mean searching for a quiet seat, guarding a charging point, and settling for whatever food is available nearby. At Antalya Airport’s FTA Comfort Lounge, however, the experience is a little more relaxing. Located airside in international departures, Terminal 2, and available to a wide range of travellers, this lounge offers a comfortable space to unwind before your flight, with complimentary food and drinks, runway views and even a small duty-free shop.

The interior

Departure boards sit across all the different spaces in the lounge
The lounge is divided into four separate rooms, creating a more spacious feel than many airport lounges. Each area has its own character, with seating ranging from cosy two-person arrangements to larger group seating and high-top desks for those wanting to catch up on work before a flight.
Some sections overlook the airport apron, offering views of aircraft movements and the runway activity beyond. The lounge feels bright and functional rather than luxurious, but there are enough seating options to suit most travellers. We particularly appreciated the availability of charging points near several seats, making it easy to top up devices before departure.

Smokers will appreciate the outdoor area
There’s also a spacious outdoor terrace with views across the tarmac where smoking is permitted. It’s also a nice spot to catch a view and some fresh air before your flight.
The food and drinks

The breakfast menu was small, but enough to keep us sated before our flight
The complimentary food offering is fairly simple but perfectly adequate, especially for an early morning departure. We were there around 8 am, and during breakfast service, guests could choose from cheese or ham-and-cheese sandwiches, flaky croissants, traditional Turkish cheese börek, yoghurt, salad, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, and packaged muffins.
Drinks are self-service, with coffee machines, cartons of water, and soft drinks available throughout the lounge. One small limitation is that the coffee stations only provide dairy milk, which may be disappointing for travellers looking for plant-based alternatives. No alcoholic drinks are available at the lounge.

The freshly-made borek was the highlight
While the selection isn’t extensive, everything was fresh, regularly replenished and more than sufficient for a light meal before boarding.

The facilities

Different seating configurations include spaces suitable for working
One unexpected feature is the small duty-free shop located within the lounge itself, selling souvenirs, perfumes, and alcoholic beverages. It’s a convenient addition for anyone who forgot to pick up a last-minute gift before reaching the gate area.
Wi-Fi access is straightforward, with staff providing a PIN code on arrival. During our visit, the connection was reliable enough for browsing, messaging, and checking travel plans.

Our comfy corner of the lounge
The toilet facilities were clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The lounge does not offer shower facilities, however, which may be a consideration for travellers arriving from a long-haul flight or facing an extended layover.
The verdict
FTA Comfort Lounge Antalya Airport isn’t trying to compete with the world’s most luxurious airport lounges, but that’s not really the point. Instead, it provides a comfortable, quiet and practical space where travellers can relax, enjoy a snack, connect to Wi-Fi and escape the bustle of the terminal.
