Tried and tested gems we love.
Tried and tested gems we love.
From Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong, we’re hunting down the trendiest hotels across Asia and beyond. Known to many as The Little Red Dot, Singapore offers a range of heritage and new-build accommodations, each with its own unique style. And these are the best boutique hotels in Singapore that we love to stay at.
We love, love, love this hotel. Converted from a 19th century godown, this historic gem in Robertson Quay is the perfect mix of heritage and modernity. The area was once a hotbed for gambling, underground activities, and secret societies, so the hotel brings a little of this into your stay.
The vision of The Lo & Behold Group, design nods to the past while offering contemporary creature comforts. Locally curated delights fill the minibar while Ashley & Co amenities are available in the bathrooms. Don’t miss a visit to Po, where you can try traditional Popiah, and we adore the swimming pool with views of the river.

Having recently undergone a facelift, this grand dame may not be boutique in the traditional sense (its home to more than 100 rooms and suites), yet its bespoke service and unrivalled hospitality earns it a spot on this list.
As soon as you step through the iconic doors, you’ll enter a world of luxe and legend. Clawfoot baths, four-poster beds, and perfectly manicured gardens await, alongside a plethora of world class dining destinations (we love Writers Bar).
It’s no surprise that award-winning Raffles Spa is a luxurious haven of restoration and be sure to take a dip in the majestic swimming pool.

Five star luxe abounds at The Fullerton Hotel. Once home to Singapore’s General Post Office, the neoclassical building was originally built in 1928. Nowadays, the hotel takes inspiration from bygone days across its 400 rooms, collection of dining spaces, and exclusive spa.
We love that a series of tours are available to discover more about the landmark and the neighbouring surroundings. Be sure to book a suite that guarantees you access to the Straits Club for where cocktails and nibbles can be enjoyed amid Peranakan décor and Straits Chinese objets d’art.

Inspired by the Clan Associations that called the neighbourhood home in the 1800s, The Clan Hotel is the perfect place to stay in buzzing Chinatown. Expect a welcome tea prepared by the in-house Tea Master on arrival here to set you up in style before settling into one of the refined guestrooms and suites.
Bringing the outside in, guests have the opportunity to sample delights from the surrounding hawker food stalls, with dishes delivered direct to your door. We were thrilled by the butler who drew us a bubble bath and left us a handwritten note. There’s no wonder why we think this is one of the best boutique hotels in Singapore.
