We review Corendon Hydros Club Kemer in Antalya, Türkiye: the perfect all-inclusive holiday for multigenerational families

Set between Türkiye’s dramatic Taurus Mountains and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, Corendon Hydros Club Kemer delivers the kind of easy, sunshine-filled holiday that appeals to every generation. Located in the resort town of Kemer, just an hour south of Antalya, the sprawling all-inclusive resort combines relaxed beachside living with enough activities, restaurants and wellness experiences to keep everyone, from toddlers to grandparents, happily entertained.

Getting there

For a full brand experience, we travelled from London Gatwick to Antalya with Corendon Airlines. Breezing through the airport in Antalya was easy, and, because we were only travelling with carry-on, we were through in about 15 minutes. 

Having exited the airport, we made our way to the Corendon desk, where we were directed to our private transfer (€126 for two people). Our luxe van included drinks and snacks, plus a TV to enjoy some entertainment during our 40-minute drive to the hotel. Guests also have access to a group transfer to the property for just €18 per person.

Arrival experience

From the moment we arrived, there was an unmistakably warm atmosphere throughout the resort. Palm-lined pathways wind through the property towards the beach, while the scent of salty sea air follows you almost everywhere. 

The property is expansive, so thankfully, the team explained the layout as they toured us through the property and chauffeured us to our room via golf cart.

Rooms and suites

We checked into Room 5132, a Terrace Room which came with views over both the swimming pool and the beach beyond. The real highlight, though, was the balcony. Complete with loungers perfectly positioned for soaking up the endless Antalya sunshine, it quickly became our favourite place for a quiet morning coffee or a pre-dinner pause as the sky turned golden pink.

A spacious bathroom featured both a rain and regular shower, and I was glad the oversized bath sheets were on hand along with soft, fluffy robes and slippers.

The bed itself was comfy, the minifridge got restocked every day and filled with water, soft drinks, and beers (included in the room rate), plus coffee and a selection of teas are on offer alongside the kettle.

Unfortunately, the TVs do not allow streaming and don’t have access to any apps, so be sure to bring your own tablet or computer for movie night.

Facilities

We spent most of our stay based at one of the resort’s private Diamond Cabanas, located on the pier and overlooking the sea. Available to hire for an additional daily cost (€100 per day), the cabanas include food and drinks service, an over-water hammock and private sea access, creating a wonderfully indulgent setup for long, lazy afternoons by the water.

Though we had good intentions and despite daily temperatures of around 27 degrees, the water was still a bit cold for us to go in in May, though some braver guests than us were enjoying the water. 

There are multiple swimming pools on the property, too, with plenty of loungers to accommodate everyone, so no morning pilgrimages to save your spot will be necessary. Much like the sea, these aren’t heated, so we barely saw anyone in them when we visited. In the name of research, I valiantly dived in on the first day, but I had goosebumps as soon as I entered, so I had to get out pretty quickly. This is such a shame, but we’re getting used to just not being able to use swimming pools outside peak season in Europe (something unheard of during our years living in Asia).

The resort is particularly strong when it comes to keeping families entertained. Throughout the day, a rotating programme of activities caters to all ages. Younger children can enjoy the Kids’ Club, while older children and teenagers have dedicated entertainment and games through the Teens’ Club. Adults are equally well looked after, with everything from boccia and darts tournaments to watersports, including parasailing and jet skiing, available nearby. During our stay, we noticed countless multigenerational families enjoying a relaxing holiday full of sun, food, and fun together.

Wellness

The spa became our sanctuary whenever we wanted a break from the midday sun. Inside, there’s a lovely heated indoor pool, which was very much appreciated after our chilly outdoor swim attempts, alongside saunas, steam rooms and a peaceful relaxation lounge.

We opted to try a traditional hammam treatment, beginning with a vigorous full-body scrub courtesy of two wonderfully friendly therapists who seemed determined to remove every last trace of dead skin we’d ever accumulated. The treatment was followed by a deeply relaxing massage that left us feeling entirely revived, finished perfectly with herbal tea in the relaxation area afterwards.

A full menu of massages, facials, manicures and pedicures is available, while the resort’s outdoor wellbeing area hosts daily fitness and wellness classes, including yoga, pilate, and HIIT sessions.

Food and drink

As with any great all-inclusive resort, food plays a huge role in the overall experience, and Corendon Hydros Club Kemer gets plenty right.

Mosaic, the main buffet restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a rotating mix of Turkish and international dishes. Dinner quickly became an opportunity to build our own mezze feast, with generous helpings of Muhammara, creamy dips, homemade pickles and warm, freshly baked breads. The Turkish dishes consistently stood out, and my meat-loving travel companion became mildly obsessed with the lamb and chicken dishes.

Breakfasts were equally impressive. Fresh spinach börek quickly became my daily ritual alongside made-to-order omelettes, seasonal fruit and excellent Turkish tea.

One of the resort’s hidden gems is Liora Patisserie, a charming little café space open until midnight and filled with delicate pastries and desserts. The standout was the beautifully crafted pear mousse, cleverly shaped and coloured to resemble a real pear and almost too pretty to eat.

For something more elevated, the two à la carte restaurants are absolutely worth booking, though both require additional fees. At Rikia Asian, guests can choose between a sushi-focused Japanese menu and a broader Asian fusion offering. We sampled both, particularly enjoying the chef’s sushi platter for its freshness and the beautifully cooked sea bass with mixed vegetables. The sprout salad, dressed in a punchy garlic and vinegar dressing, was another surprise highlight.

Meanwhile, Velora provides a more refined modern European dining experience, complete with lovely beach views. The sous vide octopus was beautifully tender, while the asparagus risotto delivered perfectly balanced flavours and felt genuinely restaurant-quality rather than typical resort fare. This is a great special occasion spot, and the ideal place to spend your final night of vacation.

What else is there?

The property has a number of concession stores on-site, including a couple of clothing shops, a mini mart, a place for hair braiding, and even a temporary tattoo parlour.

Every night, a rotating selection of entertainment is on offer, from performances to karaoke. We had a lovely time at the Cabaret production that featured a talented crew of singers and dancers belting out the hits of both today and yesteryear.

The hotel also has a range of tours on offer. We took one (€89 per person) that allowed us to take the funicular up Mount Olympos for epic views of the area. Our favourite part, though, was visiting the ancient city of Phaselis, once an important harbour port. The excavation here is ongoing, and we were shocked by how well preserved ornate columns and mosaics were. There’s a theatre, ruins of old baths, perfectly-preserved aqueducts, and it’s all set next to dazzlingly blue seas. In fact, our guide shared that locals come to the area regularly for a family day out at the beach.
