What’s not to love about Thailand? From its ever-expanding selection of eco-friendly hotels to its luxe resorts from Phuket to Hua Hin, we’re always up for a trip to the Land of Smiles. And now there’s even more reason to visit thanks to the launch of the impeccably designed Hyatt Regency Koh Samui.

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui opens its doors

Located in North Chaweng, Hyatt Regency Koh Samui is the creation of three of the country’s leading hotel design firms: Office of Bangkok Architecture, August Design, and PLandscaping. Featuring 140 rooms, the property sits over eight acres of private coastline to the far northeast of the island and is surrounded by protected coconut trees.

Rooms feature ocean-inspired elements blended with a minimal neutral palette to allow the surroundings to do the talking. Accommodations offer ocean views and a collection of swimming pools cascade from the main pool on the upper deck of the hotel. Seven elevated beachfront pool villas can be booked for ultimate indulgence, and guests will enjoy entering a showpiece lobby where skylights allow for natural illumination from both the sun and moon.

Four restaurants and bars are onsite and showcase everything from Thai to Mediterranean and international cuisine. And when you’re in need of a littler relaxation, head over to the tranquil spa for a luxe treatment.

“The pandemic has been a challenging time for Koh Samui as it has been for the entire tourism industry in Thailand. That’s why we are so delighted to debut with such a special resort,” said Adrian Pulido, general manager, Hyatt Regency Koh Samui.
