The new hotels just keep on coming! Recently we’ve seen voco Orchard Singapore, Cheval Blanc Paris, and the Arca in Hong Kong launch to huge success, and now London has something exciting to look forward to as well. Getting ready to open its doors at the start of 2022, Inhabit Queen’s Gardens is the second property in the Inhabit Hotels brand portfolio, and we can’t wait to get inside. Find out why below.

Inhabit Queen’s Gardens, London to launch in early 2022

Inhabit Queen’s Gardens
Guestrooms have been designed with sustainability in mind

We fell in love with the original Inhabit Hotel in Paddington as soon as we learned about its commitment to supporting socially conscious businesses and this affection only grew when we actually had a chance to experience it. So you can imagine how excited we are for this new addition that can be found on a tree-lined square near Lancaster Gate.

Offering 159 guest rooms that are sure to delight and uplift, the hotel is set across a range of mid-19th Century townhouses and is designed with well-being in mind.

Art & design

Inhabit Queen’s Gardens
Expect Scandi influences and contemporary art at Inhabit Queen’s Gardens

To bring the space to life, Inhabit Queen’s Gardens has worked with Holland Harvey Architects, Caitlin Henderson Design, and art curators Culture A. Expect inspiration from both Scandinavia alongside Eastern philosophies, and of course quintessential British design elements.

The hotel has also chosen to showcase a range of craftspeople and makers, with Goldfinger, an award-winning social enterprise, producing bespoke joinery for the guestrooms and public areas.

Artworks from emerging and established artists have been cleverly curated by Somerset House Studios and Makerversity, with pieces from artists such as AnneMette Beck, Hugo Dalton, and Freya Bramble Carter on display. Soft furnishings from Myanmar’s Kalinko Homewares sit across the property, and Studio 306 cushions from Aerende have been created by people recovering from and living with mental health illness.

The ultimate wellness hotel

The fitness suite

The Kitchen at Inhabit, a 70-cover restaurant and bar, will offer a plant-heavy-menu for guests, while a noise-free library will be the perfect spot to dive into a thought provoking read plucked from the shelves on topics such as meditation, social enterprise, holistic health, contemporary art, philosophy, local London and nature.

A designated subterranean wellness area is home to treatment rooms, a fitness suite, and a yoga studio, so that guests can easily keep up their movement practices or relax with a well-earned treatment by GAIA.
