We love a trip to South Korea’s capital! We’ve already discovered Seoul’s best boutique hotels, but we may very well have to add the newly opened Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel to the list. Sitting in the middle of Gangnam, one of the coolest districts in the city, find out why this property should be on your must-stay list next time you’re in town.

Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel opens in Seoul

Originally built in 1914 and one of South Korea’s first real luxury properties–Chosun Hotel, Josun Palace was designed by Humbert & Poyet, a Monaco-based architecture and interiors firm.

The goal of the design was to redefine traditional luxury by combining modern aesthetics with typical Korean design elements, including strong lines and geometric patterns. From the entry experience complete with welcoming gate and Grand Reception, guests are transported into tranquil spaces, heightened further with the hotel’s signature fragrance: Lasting Impression, which has notes of incense.

Home to 254 rooms and suites which each offer views of Seoul, guests will enjoy Frette linen along with signature toiletries from BYREDO.
